Thirteen Brook Hill students were introduced as members of the Texas Bank and Trust Student Board of Directors last night at a reception at the bank’s Grande location. The Texas Bank and Trust Student Board is a prestigious program recognizing over 60 outstanding high school seniors from six schools in the community. In the spring students completed an application, wrote an essay, presented a resume, provided letters of recommendation, and participated in an interview as part of the selection process.

The Student Board program is designed to introduce students to banking and money management at a critical part of their lives, and provide them with the essential economic building blocks to earning, spending, saving, and investing money.At the orientation reception this week the Student Board elected McCray Fletcher as Board Chairman and Chipper Adams as Board Co-Chairman. Other Brook Hill members of the Board are Val Allen, Caleb Chadwell, Monica Liang, Markus Ma, Chase Moore, Morgan Moss, Charlotte Nguyen, Charlie Niles, Jordan Phillips, Sheri Russell, and Yu Talifu.
