Before coming to Brook Hill in the Fall of 2022, Coach White spent seventeen years coaching college and high school basketball in Oklahoma and Kansas. He also spent four years as the Baptist Collegiate Ministries director in Enid, Oklahoma.

White graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and received his B.S. from Oklahoma Baptist in Health and Physical Education. At the REAL OBU White was a member of the cross-country and track teams and was an All-Region runner helping his team finish fourth at nationals in 2007. He holds a master’s degree in secondary education with an emphasis in sports administration from East Central University.

Coach White serves as the head coach for both middle school and upper school cross-country, and he is the head boys coach for middle school and upper school track & field. Josiah also serves as the head coach for middle school boys’ basketball and assistant coach for athletic performance. When Coach White is not teaching and coaching, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing with his kids. Josiah and his wife are avid hikers, enjoy obstacle course racing and love to get to the mountains whenever they can. He is married to Alyxandrah and together they have two children, Brighton and Breslyn.
