
Kevin Pierce
Kevin Pierce teaches Elementary Music at Brook Hill Lower School. He received a B.A.in Music Education from Texas A&M University – Commerce with a teaching certification for EC-12. Mr. Pierce taught band in Pittsburg ISD for two years before returning to Tyler where he grew up. Following his love of choral singing, Mr. Pierce has held a critical role in the music ministry at Lanes Chapel United Methodist Church in Tyler as both an assistant to the Music Minister and Children’s Choir Director since 2011. As a French horn player, Mr. Pierce has played professionally in ensembles all over the United States, most recently as a guest artist and conductor of the UT-Tyler Wind Ensemble. He is a member of the tenor section in the Tyler Civic Chorale. Mr. Pierce was led to The Brook Hill School after praying fervently for a career that would allow him to combine his love for God, music, and teaching. He strives to lead his students to a mature appreciation for music and how it is used to praise the Lord. In his free time, Kevin enjoys reading, bowling, gaming, and making music wherever the opportunity arises.
