Kent Travis, Chair of our Humanities Department, visited our 8th grade classes this week to help our students become better writers.  Students have been learning how to write essays, and Mr. Travis did a presentation specifically on how to write body paragraphs. Students were enthralled by the lesson and will now begin the process of using what they learned in an essay of their own!

It is so great for them to hear and learn from a high school teacher to help them better understand how they need to prepare for the next step after middle school!
