Creating Table Salt in Chemistry

Continuing their study of acids and bases, Ms. Adams’ Chemistry students performed a neutralization reaction between a strong acid, HCl, and a strong base, NaOH. Acid/base neutralization reactions yield water and a salt, in this case, NaCl, common table salt.
