Third graders have finished reading their first novel, Ramona Quimby, Age 8. The main character in that book presents her book report as a commercial. Brook Hill’s third graders created book commercials to sell their families on reading their book!

Each student was given a book to read. They identified the main characters, setting, major plot events, appeal of the book to children, and created a catch phrase to use in their commercial. Families were invited to listen as the books were promoted. All are sold on the idea that reading is fun!
