2nd Grade Uses Technology for Quiz

2nd grade students in Mrs. Brashier’s class had fun with technology as they reviewed their social studies unit on maps and land forms. Students participated in a digital quiz with plicker cards. Plicker is a learning response system that uses unique printed cards for each student to hold up as their answer to various questions. As Mrs. Brashier scanned the room with her iPhone, students answers were automatically recorded live online for the class to see on the Promethean Board. Students were able to see how they did as a class, and how many students chose a particular answer. This kind of live quiz engaged the students beyond a paper quiz and allowed them to interact and respond in real time to the questions as a group! What a cool way to integrate technology into the classroom in a way that engages and strengthens students learning!
